Explore the workshop

AVEprep focuses on organised clinical reasoning, clear communication and honest reflection on what to practise next.

Start with sound foundations

Preparation should build on broad veterinary knowledge and current official requirements.

Explain the reasoning

Practise explaining your priorities, relevant risks and the reasons behind clinical decisions.

Reflect and improve

Use educational feedback to identify further study and appropriately supervised practice.

Our teaching approach

Focused preparation with clear boundaries

Proposed AVEprep activities use original scenarios, guided discussion and reflection. They do not replace clinical experience, supervised practice or official AVBC requirements.

Original scenarios

Work through independently created educational cases. No recalled or confidential examination material is used.

Clinical reasoning

Discuss how clinical findings influence priorities, risks and the next steps in a scenario.

Clear communication

Practise concise, organised explanations and acknowledge uncertainty when it matters.

Constructive feedback

Reflect on your response and identify specific areas for further learning.

Independent education

AVEprep is not affiliated with or endorsed by AVBC. Official requirements always take priority.

Appropriate supervision

Educational discussions do not replace workplace supervision or certify clinical case logs.

What you can expect

Honest education, without promises of an examination result

Our commitment

Original materials. Clear boundaries. No pass guarantees.
